I would most definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms were heated which was great! The rooms were clean, yes they were slightly small however that didn't bother me.
For Italy's standards, breakfast was super, it consisted of a selection of cakes, croissants and a chocolate filled pastry, 4 choices of cereals, break and jams, ham and cheese, toast and a coffee machine.
The hotel is situated right outside the main train station and about a 20min walk to the leaning tower. However it really isn't far as there are many things to see on the way. I especially fell in love with the Piazza dei Cavalieri.
Top Tip
It is very easy to find this hotel. It is situated right ahead of the rail station in a side street on the left. There's a sign which you can't miss.

very good for 3 star, staff friendly and helpful, hotel is very comfortable, located close to railway station and with easy access from airport by bus, train or taxi.
Top Tip
leaning tower obviously, good shopping in corso d'italia, really nice natural cosmetics in the erbolario in the tunnel opposite la pace, and if you walk further, la bricciola restaurent is excellent.

Very much in need of refurbishment, rooms very "tired", slightly shabby. Dining room and public areas smart. But definitely no cleanliness issues, everything clean. Typical city centre, built alongside a commercial block, view from windows is back wall of offices, entrance is from within an arcade, but that reflects the area around the station (1 minute walk). All staff friendly and helpful.
Top Tip
Approx 5 min from main shops (just across the river) and 15 min from the tower. For general sightseeing (ie excluding galleries etc) probably half a day is adequate for Pisa. We preferred Florence which is 70 min by train, 11 euro return, take the 2 open-top bus tours when you get there it's the best way to see it (allow a full day). Lucca is very pretty and also worth a visit (20 mins by train), nice walk around the old walls and interesting buildings with some quality shopping (or window-shopping!!!) in the old part of town within the walls.

Accomodation was okay, clean but basic with a TV that did not work, which whilst not an issue to me may upset other people.
Room felt a little cramped for space.
Top Tip
Easy walk to old town and right next door to train station so no need for taxi's etc..
Ate at the IL Campano restaurant and thoroughly recommend it.

We did not know how to ensure that we would definitely get a cot for our one year old for the night so rang hotels by phone who booked it for us. The hotel staff gave us a very warm welcome and were great with the little one. Our room was very comfortable - our first taste of Italy. We took the 20 min walk with the buggy to the leaning tower in August and this was very pleasant indeed. We would stay there again very happily.
Top Tip
Ask the staff on the desk where to eat. They are happy to help.

Very friendly hotel, excellent location for train station and airport.

To get to hotel from Pisa Central Station: go out front of station and walk straight on up the Via Gremsci. Hotel is on left side of street about 2 minutes from station. Shuttle bus will take you to airport for 3 euros anytime between 7am and 10pm, 5 minutes drive. Galileo is excellent local restaurant.
