The family-run Leonardo Hotel is housed in a traditional building, in keeping with the architecture of the surrounding area. The lobby, located under a brick archway, is small, but tidy and efficient. The 27 medium sized guestrooms are appointed in a neat, modern style, their plain walls contrasting pleasingly with the pattered curtains and bedspreads. Most of them enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area. The hotel also offers a Continental style buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room. This historical property has been renovated but retains the charm inherent in its original characteristics. It is also reputed to have been used as a laboratory by the astronomer Galileo.
