Just got back from Pisa, and stayed at the Leonardo. Were a little worried about the hotel after reading other reviews, but our fears were unfounded. The staff were surperb, nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful in printing train timetables etc. Hotel location is excellant, very central, and the tower is not much more than 5 minutes walk away. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as we were out and about early, and besides, who wants a breakfast in a hotel when there is a cafe culture to discover! Pisa was a lot quieter than we expected, and easily done in a day. A day trip to Florence was fantastic with the tickets priced at 6 euros, and a journey time of just over 1 hour.

It wasn't spectacular but for £40 pp it was fine. Staff were very nice.

Mix up on arrivl when given a key to a room that had somebody in bed in it! major apologies from reception. Good size room, great location, central but quiet as down a side street. Poor breakfast and no tea and coffee facilities in room

Room was very small and area quite noisy; however staff friendly & helpful. Good for a one nighter in Pisa if you are a sound sleeper.
