We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and would stay there again. Only a 5 minute walk to the start of the main shopping area and about 20 minutes walk to the Leaning Tower etc. Our room, although basic, was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room was quiet and we both slept well. The mini-bar was useful as well. Breakfast was adequate and the staff were polite, efficient and helpful. We would stay there again.
Top Tip
Enjoy the atmosphere and experience of old Pisa town and also try to visit Lucca-15 minutes by train -and Central Station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

A good sized room about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. There is no lift but as there are only ground , 1st & 2nd. floors, not a problem for us. Staff helpful and room tidied and cleaned very well every day.

The staff are fantastic and very friendly. They are always on hand to help or to suggest a good restaurant or a great place to visit.
Larger visitors may be put off by the tiny shower - we just about managed, and we are both very slight! Not enough to cause complaint though, and we will definitley be back to stay at the hotel again.
Top Tip
La Pergoletta is a great restaurant - a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

This hotel was less than 5 minutes from the airport in a tax costing €6 and the leaning tower was only a nice 15 minute walk away.
Top Tip
The Galilleo and Baralle restaurants were lovely both recommended to us by the hotel.

The Staff of the Minerva were always friendly and helpful. Our room on the ground floor was a little gloomy, as not much day light filtered through the windows - but it was cool and clean and lets face it, one doesn't go to Pisa to sit in the hotel room all day. The air conditioning was very welcome. The location of the hotel was ideal for our purposes. A short walk across the river and we were at the famous tower with excellent restaurants and shopping. Just another short walk in the other direction was the train station. Florence was just an hour away and Lucca just 15 mins to the north.
Top Tip
The tower is a must see, of course. But try and get down some of the side streets and find some of the smaller eating places. Very reasonably priced and you may discover that there is more to italian food than just pizza and pasta. Take care crossing the roads. Don't assume the traffic will stop to let you cross. Marina di Pisa provided some much needed respite from the bustle of Pisa. Hire a couple of deck chairs for the day and chill out with a swim in the rock pools. We recommend a trip to Lucca. It's just 15 mins on the train and is amazing.
