The Relais Dell'Orologio is an exquisite boutique hotel, housed in a carefully restored 14th-century tower house. Opened in March 2003, it is owned by Maria Luisa Bignardi, having been her family’s home since the 1500s. The 25 spacious guestrooms are decorated in soothing tones, with stencilled walls and wood-beamed ceilings. All are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. There’s also a large sitting room complete with fireplace, which provides a relaxing spot to read or sip a glass of wine. The Hallet’s Bar/Restaurant oozes romance, and Continental breakfast may be enjoyed in the Italian garden, whilst drinks are served on the veranda.
